The faculty is qualified to execute any research or study projects directed to address environmental concerns on the natural or socio-economic components of the environment.
Currently the faculty staff members and students at the graduate and undergraduate levels are engaged into two projects:
Clinical Waste Management in Sudan.
(Quality, quantity and disposal system).

Utilization of the Ephemeral Water Courses in Central Sudan, West of the Nile
Valley. (A contribution to poverty alleviation endeavors).

Training courses

availability of staff - members, space and lab facilities furnished the solid paltform for the introduction of short training cources

(4-6 Weeks) in environmental studies. The main objective of the training is to boost the environmental awareness of decission

makers at all levels.
