Higher Diploma Programme
The faculty offers Graduate 
  programmes by courses at two levels:
  Post-graduate Diploma Degree and;
  Master of Science Degree in Environmental Science.
  The duration of the Diploma Programme is ONE YEAR. Divided into two semesters 
  dedicated to intensive lectures and seminar (3 hours per subject for 15 weeks 
  per semester) followed by three months of field work,Site visits & lab invistigations 
  which should be terminated by a submission of a short dissertation as a partial 
  fulfillment of the requirement for the Diploma acquisition.
  The admission requirement is a B. Sc. Degree (General or Honors) in natural 
  or applied sciences.

First Semester
1. Environmental Economics;
  2. Environmental Geology;
  3. Microbial Ecology,
  4. Environmental Sociology;
  5. Environmental Impact Assessment;
  6. Environmental Concerns I.
Second Semester 
  
  1. Aquatic Ecology;
  2. Water Harvesting;
  3. Environmental Chemistry;
  4. Environmental Concerns II;
  5. Research Methods;
  6. Remote Sensing Techniques.

The Master of Science Programme
  (Two years Programme)
First Year
First Semester
  1. Biodiversity;
  2. Resource management;
  3. Arid-land Ecology;
  4. Climate change;
  5. Advanced Environmental Chemistry;
  6. Sustainable Development.
Second Semester 
  1.Ecotoxicology;
  2. Pollution Control;
  3. Applied Remote Sensing and GIS;
  4. Scientific communication Skills;
  5. Environmental Ethics and Aesthetics; 
  6. Land-use Planning.
  (Each subject 3 hours per week)
  (Each semester is 15 weeks)
Second Year
Dedicated to seminars, group 
  discussions, writing research papers, presentation of case histories, learning 
  of technical skills.
  Field work, data collection, laboratory investigation, preparation and production 
  of a thesis, which is a prerequisite for the acquisition of the Master Degree.
